Simon Wallace is a professional artist working mainly in oils, acrylics, and occasionally watercolour or coloured pencils. His preferred subject matter is landscapes, wildlife and the seashore. Having studied art in Newcastle but dropping out of college to pursue a short-lived career in music, Simon has painted alongside careers in journalism, marketing and fundraising. He now paints full time at his home/studio at Brigham near Cockermouth on the fringe of the Lake District. Since 2001, his work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Northern England and Scotland.
